After having first learnt “closing the bones” with Maestra’s in Guatemala, and deepening my training with “feminine soul retrieval” with teachers at the Institute of Feminine Arts ~ I share this ancient healing ritual with great care & reverence.
Traditionally used postnatally, this immersive experience invites one to be deeply held, with the support of rebozo scarves wrapped around the body for a length of time. It is ideal for any life transition, particularly one where we may need to adjust, or be with deep emotions such as loss or grief. These may include: divorce, abortion, baby loss, hysterectomy, menopause, loss of partner or simply a time when you need deep nurturance and care.
It is a powerful practice that invites the return of any parts of self that may have become misplaced in the transition or process of loss and grief, returning the soul fragments to regenerate a sense of wholeness & wellbeing.
During the session, your body will be lovingly wrapped in Rebozo scarves—traditional woven cloths that cradle you much like a baby swaddled in safety, or as if held once more in the womb—completely cocooned, safe, and held.
This journey is especially supportive for women who have experienced loss, grief, miscarriage, stress, nervous system dis-regulation, or hysterectomy. It is an invitation to heal, reconnect, and remember your inner wholeness.
Using sound, voice and gentle music ~ you will be guided into a state of deep rest, allowing your nervous system to settle and your body to soften. In this space of stillness and surrender, you are given the time and support to call back and reclaim parts of yourself that may feel lost, fragmented, or ungrounded.
